Monday October 18th, Charterhouse would like to announce that long term CEO Mark Brooks-Wadham, has made the decision to step down as CEO of the business, and in conjunction we would like to announce the arrival of incoming CEO David Brooks.

Earlier in 2021 Mark decided that, after 28 years at the helm, the time was right to move to a non executive board role and to pursue a plural career. As a result of an extensive search process August Equity, Peter Manning (Chairman) and Mark are delighted that David Brooks has agreed to accept the role.

Peter Manning remarks:

We would like to thank Mark for all his efforts and leadership over the last three years.

We respect and understand his decision to pursue a plural career and are delighted that he has agreed to remain with the business as a Non exec director, providing valuable strategic insight to the board.

We are delighted to have secured the services of David, the stand-out candidate in the process, who brings a wealth of experience and energy to the role. We look forward to David leading the business through its next, exciting,  phase of growth.

Mark Brooks-Wadham comments:

Having set up the business in 1993, and seen it develop into the market leading nationwide solutions provider that it is today, the time is right for me to build on my experiences and pursue a plural career.  In David I believe we have an outstanding leader who will take the business onto the next exciting phase of our growth and development. I look forward to working with David on the board and wish him every success in leading the business through its next chapter.

David Brooks, CEO, comments:

"I’m delighted and excited to have accepted the role of CEO at Charterhouse. Charterhouse is a tremendous business with a great future, and I look forward to working with the excellent team."

Charterhouse Stand with Ukraine

We are witnessing a tragedy in Ukraine. Charterhouse wanted to share a note to express unequivocal support for Ukraine as a nation and its people. What we are witnessing is truly appalling.

Charterhouse want to offer support, and importantly help those affected by this unprovoked attack on their country. To make a difference for those impacted by this terrible situation, one that directly benefits the people of Ukraine, we have taken the decision to donate all revenue generated for telephone calls, made by our customers, to and from the Ukraine from 1st March 2022 to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC).
